Don't brush your teeth to keep them clean and healthy!

Brushing your teeth using conventional manual and electric toothbrushes may become a thing of the past as the latest in ultrasound technology hits the UK oral care market.

German made Emmi-dent ultrasonic toothbrushes are set to change the way we clean our teeth. The clinically proven and patented toothbrush technology utilizes 'nano-bubbles' in conjunction with 100% ultrasound to clean teeth and safely destroy bacteria and plaque, deep in the gum pockets, where conventional and electric toothbrushes cannot reach.

The Emmi-dent ultrasonic toothbrush looks like any other electric toothbrush, but is used in a very different way. Brushing becomes unnecessary because ultrasound does all the work through microscopic `nano bubbles` that are created when the special non abrasive toothpaste and ultrasound interact.

You will need to resist the temptation to brush your teeth with the Emmi-dent toothbrush. Just position the brush head on the teeth (usually 3 at a time), allowing the ultrasound to work for about 5 seconds before moving on to the next set of teeth.

We have all developed the habit of brushing over many years, so it may difficult to stop brushing and let the ultrasound and 'nano bubbles' do the work, but If you persevere, the results may astound you! The Emmi-dent can destroy bacteria and plaque and make light work of hard to remove tea, coffee, wine and other stains, taking your teeth back to their natural colour in just 3 or 4 days of use.

Recent studies suggest that oral health and gum disease in particular are related to serious conditions such as heart disease. The Emmi-dent can help improve your oral health and reduce gum disease, potentially reducing other health risks. It is safe and effective for use with fillings, crowns, bridges and implants so your dentist is also likely to be pleased with you too!

The Emmi-dent 100% Ultrasonic Toothbrush was show-cased to dental professionals and other visitors to the 'Innovation Zone' at the British Dental Association Conference and Exhibition in April 2012 and is now available to UK consumers and dental professionals.
